OCTOBER 7 2014 ARIZONA- "Nailer" (M) sits and discusses the coming days of the next chapter of Operation Ivie.  Nailer uses Google Earth to mark possible rally points for which the teams of AZBR will stay the night, surveying.

OCTOBER 5 2014- Blaine laces up his boots at the Arizona Border Recon's "Forward Operating Base" (FOB) in Arizona, where the group reorganizes and launches it's operations from. Blaine Cooper would later be implicated in the standoff with BLM agents in the Oregon Wildlife Refuge, being one of the first to plead guilty to federal conspiracy in the armed takeover of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in 2016

OCTOBER 6 2014 ARIZONA- A Border Patrol agent stops by the Arizona Border Recon's Forward Operating Base (FOB), a rented building that the group utilizes to launch their operations.

A pile of rocks serves as a trail marker for those heading north from Mexico towards civilization, with the nearest populated city often being Arivaca- considered a friendly holdover for those crossing.

A cross is placed near the location of a migrant death in their journey north. In the nearly 21 year time span from October 1997 to September 2018 the CBP reported over 7,500 migrant deaths, primarily from exposure to the elements, in its nine sectors along the southwest border with the actual figure expected to be significantly higher due to the statistics showing only the number of cases reported to authorities.

Members of the Arizona Border Recon make their way to their positions where they will be spending 24-36 hours overnight in what are referred to as Listening and Observation Posts (LP, OP)

Bill Ferguson uses elements of foliage to further camouflage his movements during dusk. Bill and other members of the Arizona Border Recon were in a foot chase of suspected migrants when they lost track but soon came upon backpacks and other materials that were suspected to have been dropped by the fleeing individuals. Bill would later be involved in a murder suicide after opening fire on responding officers in Buckeye Arizona after he admitted on social media to have murdered his wife.
